I am a lifelong resident of Cocke County. I attended Newport Grammar School and Cocke County High School before earning my business management degree from Emory & Henry College in 2004. Since 2010, I have been with the Cocke County Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee office, where I currently serve as agency manager, a position I have held since 2020.

Outside of my career, I serve as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Newport. I am also a member of the Tennova Newport Advisory Board and the Newport Federal Bank Board.

I am married to my wife, Leigh Anne, and have five children, Kate, Loretta, Abe, Ella Beth, and Reid. We spend much of our time supporting our children’s sports and extracurricular activities. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, cheering on the Tennessee Vols, and spending time with family and friends.
