Garden Trellis Towers

A trellis is great for all your climbing and vining veggies. Not only are they affordable to make with a few 2x4s and hardware cloth, but their vertical design allows for more room in the ground for vegetables and herbs that tend to bush or clump.
Small pumpkins, summer squash, cucumbers, peas and green beans love to scramble up the trellis, plus they’re easier to maintain and harvest when their long vines are elevated. At the end of the day, my knees and back thank me for every break I can give them working upright and out of the dirt.
