Tailgate Party Preparation

Farmer Charlie's Ideas Worth Sharing

A wise man once said, "By failing to prepare, you're preparing to fail.“ Now, I'm not sure if ol' Ben Franklin was a pigskin fan or not, but the last place you want to fail this fall is at your tailgate party. Here are some helpful hints to make sure you don't fumble the festivities.

• That toolbox can come in handy - the main compartment is the perfect size for grilling tools and skewers, while the top part can keep hand sanitizer and trash bags at the ready!

• Keep your cool - freeze water bottles the night before and use those to pack your cooler.

It will keep your perishables fresh and after they melt, you'll have plenty of drinking water on hand!

• Extra, extra! Better safe than sorry - load extra charcoal, tongs, ice and even jumper cables into your stash. The more prepared you are ahead of time, the more relaxed you'll be on gameday.
