Little Sprouts Discovery Center Celebrates Fourth Anniversary
Little Sprouts Discovery Center, located in Columbia, Tennessee, recently marked its fourth year of providing high-quality childcare services to the employees of Tennessee Farm Bureau® and its affiliated companies. To celebrate this milestone, a small reception was held on January 29, 2024, attended by staff, parents, and children.
Julie Bowling, general counsel for the Tennessee Farm Bureau and Tennessee Farmers Insurance Companies, expressed her pride in seeing Little Sprouts' enrollment grow and the children flourish since its opening in January 2020. "Our employees have expressed what a great benefit it is to have a safe, affordable, and convenient option for childcare while they work," Bowling said.
Kaz Tew, branding and communications manager for Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee, stated, "As a first-time parent, I was relieved to know I had a close option that worked with our family budget to send our daughter to while I returned to work. They’ve done a great job keeping us connected to all the activities and learnings our daughter experiences while in Little Sprouts’ care."
Little Sprouts Discovery Center offers an agricultural-based pre-kindergarten academic enrichment program available to the children and grandchildren of the Farm Bureau companies' employees and children of Farm Bureau Insurance agents. Enrollment is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The center is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and children aged six weeks to five years are eligible for full-time enrollment. Farm Bureau employees interested in enrolling their child in Little Sprouts Discovery Center may contact the center's executive director, Latonya Cooper, at 931-398-2323 or lcooper@littlesproutsdc.info.
