What to Plant this Fall

September 2, 2021

Annual and perennial flowers

Veggies in your garden are satisfying, but not as nice to look at as flowers. Luckily, being in Tennessee means late summer/early fall isn’t too late to enjoy some beautiful blooms. Right now, you can plant marigolds, zinnias, asters, black-eyed Susans, dahlias and coreopsis. And if you’re feeling extra motivated (and it’s not too hot), bushes and trees can also go in now. It’s like giving your house a makeover – but without the eyebrow plucking.
